The weather for the EggStravaganza was sunny in the low 60s. We had a great spot in the middle of the action for our Fred and Susie MINI and a tent to show a preview of Being a Good Banana, our latest show.
Part of the attraction was getting to have your picture taken with Susie and the MINI. Here a young fan poses with Susie for the photo op.
The EggStravaganza was a huge Easter egg hunt. This is the "Starter Chicken," who was used to keep the participants in line.
The Waterford Methodist Church has sprawling grounds, and all of that space was used for hunting eggs.
The grounds were divided into zones for age groups, making it easy for the younger collectors, such as this cutie, to find eggs.
With nearly 500 people in attendance and thousands of hidden eggs to find, you can see from this photo that it was a huge event!
Of course, it wouldn't be a Fred and Susie outing if there wasn't a bouncy house or two, and the EggStravaganza was no exception!
One of the attractions included a chance to pet some bunnies. These two were named Fern and Amelia.
Susie loves bunnies, and she had a great time with Fern (or maybe this one is Amelia). The bunnies were very soft and happy to be held.
As part of the fun, the church provided a tent for us to show Being a Good Banana, the latest Fred and Susie episode!
After the show, Susie answered questions from the kids. They asked some great ones!
After watching the show and collecting some eggs, there was still plenty of time to meet Susie and get a picture or two with her. Here's Susie with some excited young fans. The EggStravaganza was a great success, and we were happy to be a part of it!
Sunny Easter Fun!
